The 25th Blue-Gray Tournament ended with the Gray team and General Randy Merritt repeating as victors and claiming bragging rights for another year at The Olde Farm.
Overnight rains Friday, coupled with more rain early Saturday morning, necessitated the decision to cancel Saturday’s singles’ matches. The official record will show all 30 singles’ matches being deemed a tie, so the final score resulted in a Gray victory by a 39 ½ – 36 ½ margin.
Congratulations to General Merritt and the Gray team on retaining the victory saber for another year.
