Caddy Shack
The Caddy Shack is a quaint log cabin on property that is rich in historical significance. Logs from the oldest building in Washington County, Virginia, the Stout home place, located on property, were used to construct this charming structure. Stationed here, the Caddy Master and his corps are the first to greet Members as they arrive on property. The Caddy Shack was reconstructed in 2020 by the crew from Barnwood Builders and Burwil Construction.
Clubhouse
The Olde Farm Clubhouse is patterned after Castle Hill, a historic home built more than 200 years ago in Charlottesville, Virginia. The stately Clubhouse welcomes all members who arrive on property and provides a homecoming filled with warm woods, rich textures, and gourmet dining. The Clubhouse is located in the exact spot of the original home built on the property in the 1700s in a grove of oak trees. One of these majestic trees continue to stand guard outside the Clubhouse today. Members enjoy the Clubhouse for entertaining social and business guests in a variety of dining and meeting areas as well as for a hub to all golf activities. The Clubhouse combines southern charm and hospitality with modern amenities and facilities and is home to the golf shop, dining room, boardroom, wine cellar, and locker rooms.
Cottages
The Olde Farm features three exquisite and beautifully furnished guest cottages named after the iconic golf trio The Big 3: Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player. Each fully furnished cottage features a dramatic living room with four bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The Nicklaus and Palmer cottages include two queen-sized beds and two private baths in each room for a total of 12 beds and 12 baths in each cottage. The expansive glass doors may be folded back to completely reveal the breathtaking views of the landscape. The center includes an inviting common area and kitchen. It is the ideal location for hosting weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, or enjoying additional lodging capacity during tournament events.
Long Barn
One of two refurbished barns on property, the Long Barn was once utilized as a working tobacco barn and now serves as a convenience stop and refreshment service facility for golfers. In addition to picking up a quick snack and drink, players may also practice their putting and iron shots while waiting for a rain shower to pass.
Party Barn
Adding to The Olde Farm’s rustic, yet refined atmosphere is the well-loved, well-enjoyed Party Barn. A focal point for parties, weddings, and tournament banquet events, the Party Barn entertains large groups with ease. A sweeping view of the landscape is available from the Party Barn as well as the same caliber of meal options found in the main Dining Room.
Pavilion
The Pavilion boasts a grand capacity for open-air entertaining. In its entirety, the rustic space provides a dining area large enough for any private party, a horseshoe-shaped bar constructed with corrugated metal, and a dance floor with plenty of room to celebrate the night away while listening to live music. Other features of this beautiful space include a covered main dining area, double-sided fireplace, exhibition kitchen, open-air patio, and cozy fire pit. The Pavilion can be used for any type of event, primarily from late spring through late fall when the weather makes the outdoor experience especially nice. It can comfortably accommodate 175 seated dinner guests and expand to welcome even more guests when the adjacent grassy area by The Lodge is tented. The Pavilion has welcomed many Member events including everything from after-golf dinners and seafood buffets to wedding receptions with 150 guests and a fundraiser for more than 400 people.
